Eleven years of working and living in the U.S. as a young adult helped Rosey Izquierdo polish her English. And being born in Mexico, of course, means that she’s a native Spanish speaker.

Rosey also navigates Morelia and Patzcuaro with ease: map-reading, driving, parking, and the like. She knows exactly where INM is, for instance, because she’s been there a hundred times before—as well as dozens of other vital locations.
