Past Event Friday 27 March 2026
This tour is one of my personal annual highlights, as I love this town and festival. We will definitely be having a good time!
First, we'll visit the Tingambato archeological site. The local history here dates back more than 1,300 years, with excavations and restoraration of parts of the site in 1978/79. Despite these excavations, there still remain additional buildings and pyramids.
A short drive bring us to the annual Geranium Festival, where participants can shop, eat, drink, and buy plants (lots of plants!)
Location
Meet the tour group at the corner of Calle Diego José Abad and Bartolomé de las Casas, which is near Tata Mezcaleria and behind the Howard Johnson Hotel.
